Live Webinar
Tuesday, January 16 on Zoom
1:00pm Eastern | 12:00pm Central | 10:00am Pacific
Join us for a conversation with Ousseni Porgo, Co-CEO of Gebana Burkina Faso, and Michael Stamm, Head of Purchase & Trade at Gebana AG in Switzerland, to learn more about Gebana’s innovative model and impact in Burkina Faso.
Gebana is one of the largest alternative traders in the world, consistently taking risks to support small farmers and help them gain access and control in the global market. In Burkina Faso, the farmers who grow our cashews and mangoes are organized into cooperatives, while the factory, owned by Gebana, employs hundreds of people from the surrounding communities. Gebana continues to invest in new projects to build capacity in Burkina Faso, including a new factory currently in development. These endeavors help farming communities in the region build a better economic future while bringing cashews and mangoes to consumers in the US and Europe through a cooperative supply chain that we are all part of.
We hope you’ll join us for this exciting opportunity to go deeper into this supply chain and learn about these important crops.
