Jeanie Wells is a long-time supporter of Equal Exchange and our work with small farmers. After working as a food co-op general manager, Jeanie has spent the last fifteen years working with co-op stores and independents to increase their capacity to compete in the consolidating grocery market. Jeanie will share her thoughts and observations on the landscape that independents and co-ops face as they continue to offer a meaningful alternative to corporate grocery chains.
