Small Organic Farmers' Association (SOFA)

 

We are proud to support the Small Organic Farmers’ Association (SOFA) in Sri Lanka. SOFA is a community of more than 2,000 small-scale landowners, organized by village. Farmers assume leadership roles within SOFA, both at the village level and throughout the wider organization. SOFA is committed to environmental preservation and growing a variety of crops, including tea, black pepper, cloves, and ginger, in harmony with the local ecology.
