Golden Milk

Looking for a warming non-caffeinated latte? Try this Golden Milk recipe made with Organic Turmeric Ginger and spiced milk.


Golden Milk

Ingredients

  • 2 bags Organic Turmeric Ginger

  • ½ cup water

  • ½ cup milk of your choice

  • 1-2 tsp. honey

  • dash of cinnamon

  • freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Steep 2 bags of Organic Turmeric Ginger in a mug filled half full with just-boiled water.

  2. In a small saucepan, warm half a mugful of milk of your choice on low. Add a few healthy shakes of cinnamon (we use Burlap & Barrel Royal Cinnamon), a few cranks of black pepper (try Burlap & Barrel Robusta Black Peppercorns), and 1-2 tsp. of your local honey.

  3. Stir the milk mixture occasionally and let the tea steep for 8-10 minutes.

  4. Remove the tea bags from your mug and then pour the warmed spiced milk to fill your mug. Option to foam the milk up in the pan first if you have a foaming wand.
